Meet Executive Chef Alfredo Martinez.
Chef Alfredo Martinez was born and raised in beautiful Chicago and discovered his passion for cooking as a young boy. As soon as he graduated from high school, he attended culinary school. With a natural talent and rigorous training, Chef Alfredo has had the opportunity to prepare meals for several famous celebrities including Chi Chi Rodriguez, Jerry Lee Lewis and Toni Bennett.
For the last two decades, Chef Alfredo has gained experience in the senior living industry. He is passionate about providing nutritious and appetizing meals to seniors, and believes that preparing organic, healthy and flavorful dishes is the key to a successful culinary experience. Although Chef Alfredo was presented with many opportunities to advance his culinary career, he ultimately chose Oakmont of Capriana because he values Oakmont’s commitment to cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients that are both healthy and enjoyable for our residents and guests.
